Welcome to Milly's Market, where we bring people together through the love of food and food experiences. Our story began when Liza Smith acquired Food Inspired Inc in March of 2022. As a family business, Liza's brother Greg ran the day-to-day operations, and over the course of the year, they both saw an opportunity to expand the physical space and the original concept of Food Inspired.

In January 2023, they closed the store for extensive renovations and Liza began planning her retirement from her 25-year corporate software career. Her goal is to now focus on running the store full-time with her brother. Inspired by their mother Mildred, who instilled in them a love of travel, exploration, and food, they rebranded the business “Milly's Market” and Their aim is to create a warm and welcoming environment where both locals and visitors to the region can enjoy a variety of gourmet offerings.

As a small business, we are committed to supporting other small businesses. Our goal is to bring unique and high-quality products to Port Hope, with a focus on sustainability and ethical practices from all over the world. We believe that our community deserves access to food that is not only delicious but also made with care and purpose.
